Dr. Aurora Degollado is a skilled and compassionate pediatric dentist dedicated to providing exceptional dental care for children of all ages. With a deep commitment to helping young patients overcome dental anxiety and develop positive experiences at the dentist, she combines clinical expertise with a gentle, patient-centered approach.

Dr. Aurora earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2003 and went on to complete specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Before her pediatric residency, she completed two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UConn, where she refined her skills in comprehensive, evidence-based dental care.

As a former full-time faculty member in UConn’s General Dentistry Department, Dr. Aurora brings extensive knowledge and teaching experience to her private practice. She also provided care in the School-Based Health Centers program of Community Health Center Inc. (CHC), serving children throughout Connecticut and advancing her commitment to accessible pediatric oral health.

Dr. Aurora is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, staying current with the latest advancements and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Outside the office, Dr. Aurora enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying active. She believes that balance and a healthy lifestyle contribute to overall well-being and a positive outlook.
